The tutors, and how we check them
Short answer: SAT tutors are hired only with an official SAT score of 1500 or higher, and English tutors with IELTS 8.0 or higher; the score shown is the one on their score report. AP, IB, A-Level and K-12 maths, sciences, economics and computer science are taught by tutors with PhDs or master's degrees, named below with their universities. The team is based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and is the same team that runs 8020 English.

How do you check a tutor's score?
For SAT and IELTS we look at the official score report before hiring, and the score shown on this page is the one on that report. For maths, sciences, economics and computer science we list the degree and the university.
Where are the tutors based?
In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (GMT+7). All tutoring is online, so students can be anywhere; we agree lesson times during the consultation.
Can we choose the tutor?
Yes. We suggest a tutor after the consultation, and you can ask for a specific tutor on this page. If the fit is not right, you can ask for a different tutor.
What is the link with 8020 English?
8020 English is a test-prep centre in Ho Chi Minh City run by the same team. Testlyn is the team's one-to-one online tutoring service, mainly for students outside Vietnam, using the same practice bank.
